Scientific program highlights:
7th May: Symposiums on tropical CNS infection and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
8th May: Plenary lectures on epidemiology of stroke, seizure, and CNS tuberculosis in ASEAN countries (N Poungvarin, L Cabral-Lim, D Gunawan), TCD: Clinical applications and future directions (A Alexandrov). Symposiums on acquired toxic neuropathies, CNS infection, epilepsy, and neuroimaging. Workshop on neurosonology.
9th May: Plenary lectures on neurology of sleep (J Siegel), novel approaches in the treatment of CNS tumors. Symposiums on stroke, neurooncology, angioplasty and stenting. Workshop on Botox in post stroke spasticity and dystonia.
10th May: Plenary lectures on current understanding and treatment of migraine (P Goadsby), recent advances in muscle disorders (I Nonaka), best treatment option for malignant middle cerebral artery infarction (W Hacke). Symposiums on movement disorders, muscle disorders, dementia: organizing and evaluating services, and sleep.
